A family apartment on the beautiful pine clad island of Spetses.

ASTERO is a woman's name meaning "of the stars".  It was the name of our grandfathers traditional Greek fishing boat.

We spent the summer of 2011 renovating and decorating this flat that belonged to our grandparents. We have updated it yet retained the original  Greek character of the apartment using a lot of the original furniture and fixtures. We spend all our holidays here in this house and we invite you to sample a taste of what we are very lucky to have. We continue to update the apartment every year.

Astero Apartment is located in the neighbourhood of "Kounoupitsa".

 

IThe apartment has one double room and a generous twin room. It has a large kitchen with small balcony, a living room, a seperate dining area, and newly refurbished bathroom with shower. The flat is situated 30 seconds walk from the local beach, so no big hills to climb to get home! It is only a short 10 min walk along the sea road , passing the beautiful Possidonion plaza into the main part of town called Dapia.
On the beach front outside the house are two small, yet fantastic tavernas where you will find the warm crystal blue waters of the saronic gulf lapping at your feet, whilst you tuck into a selection of fresh mezzes or perfectly ripe Greek salad.

A light and airy apartment only moments away from the seaside.
You will have sole use of the accommodation and will be able to come and go as you please.
The apartment has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. A fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, heating and air conditioning, (baby things such as baby bath, baby carrier, travel cot, prams and even some toys are also all available). It has an iron and ironing board and hairdryer and all bed linen is supplied.
If you want to spoil yourself there is a hair salon and nail and wax studio next door. It is family run so expect a discount!
We have a family cook available to cook you seafood should you be interested in eating some local caught fish.
We can also arrange a cleaner (at an extra cost) to visit daily should you require.
We also have a quad bike available to rent to you should you want to explore the island!

There is a lovely bakers adjacent to the apartment for fresh bread and lovely pastries!  Be sure to go there early as it is very popular with the locals. A butchers is also nearby and if you wake early enough you may catch the fishermen returning home from a nights fishing. If you miss them then you can visit the fish market in town.
